Review
Ireland is famous for its woollen products and for centuries has produced items that have gone all over the world from the Taj Mahal in India to the White House in America. Some would say this tradition spanning a thousand years is slowing down, and although yes, there are mills closing down throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom, looms here at the Foxford Woollen Mill haven't ran faster. The reason for this, is because they have constantly and wisely kept up with the trends and they just know what works and doesn't work. When you visit here, not only can you purchase items from their popular shop, you can also go on their Working Mill Tour that believe it or not is completely free! They also have a great modern cuisine cafe and restaurant where you can either just grab a coffee and cake or indulge yourself in one of their delicious hot food dishes.

Having extensively traveled all over Ireland, I must confess with a touch of embarrassment that this was my first visit to Enniscrone. However, my stay at the Ocean Sands Hotel & Spa has ensured it won't be my last.
