Doogarry House B&B is Castlebar hospitality at its best. Hosts Brendan and Bridget Cribbin have running a B&B down to a fine art, blending warmth, efficiency and genuine care. Perfectly placed for Mayo’s road networks and top attractions, it’s an easy base for adventure. There are just four rooms and they’re superb, comfortable, thoughtfully furnished, and, frankly, rival plenty of local hotel offerings. Recently refurbished bathrooms sparkle, with great showers and quality finishes. Breakfast is the stuff of legend: Bridget works her magic with locally sourced produce while Brendan keeps front of house humming. Service flows like a well-oiled machine, never rushed, always personal. For value, comfort, and that rare feeling of being truly looked after, Doogarry delivers in spades. Book early; you’ll thank yourself later.
