Just outside Dingle, this family-run hidden gem invites you behind the scenes on the Dingle Crystal Tour, where cut glass and family stories sparkle in equal measure. Founded in 1999 by master craftsman Seán Daly, the workshop hums with tradition, precision and the quiet pride of a business built by hand. Seán’s five children each play their part, from design and cutting to welcoming guests, so the experience feels intimate, authentic and personal. You’ll leave understanding how legacy, heritage and community are the three pillars that keep this company shining. Afterwards, pop into their town-centre shop to pick up a keepsake or a gift, the perfect reminder of time well spent. Dingle Crystal’s reputation travels far: a beehive-patterned Shamrock Bowl was even presented to President Joe Biden by then-Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, about as fine an endorsement as you’ll find. Craft, character and care, this is Dingle at its very best.
