Clonfert Pet Farm
Established in 2009 Clonfert Pet Farm started out as a small open farm with approx 10 different types of animals and an outdoor play area we have since 2009, continually worked hard to improve the facilities and have increased our animal family to over 60 different types of wonderful and exotic animals. We have added a coffee shop, walk ways, picnic areas, an additional outdoor play area and a new indoor soft play area for your enjoyment. Over the years the farm has grown from strength to strength and continues to thrive as a successful family business that is committed to providing an affordable and fun day out for you and your family's enjoyment.
Review
As you can imagine, and would know if you have read any of my other books, I have visited a huge number of farm parks all over the UK. Despite Ireland being in some parts quite rural, there are not a huge amount of farm parks that offer an all round experience, however the pet farm at Clonfert really did take me by surprise. With over 60 types of domestic and exotic animals, I was absolutely amazed at just how much hard work has gone into Clonfert Pet Farm and this Co. Kildare attraction really has started to turn heads. Situated on a very historic Irish site, Clonfert Pet farm offers a great little coffee shop with amazing coffee, which is always a plus for parents visiting any attraction of this nature. All in all, a trip to Clonfert will not disappoint and offers excellent value for money. The family who run the pet farm are really lovely and it is quite obvious to see that they genuinely care about every single one of their visitors. A huge Top 100 thumbs up for this attraction!
