The Bay Cafe (All Fur Coat & No Knickers!)
I’m disappointed by my experience with Bay Cafe following a business arrangement agreed in writing. After an in-person meeting, the cafe confirmed participation in my Top 100 Attractions book, website and app, and the order form was signed. Design work was then completed and an invoice issued in line with the signed agreement. Months later, I was contacted to say the design invoice would not be paid, despite the prior written sign-off. I tried to resolve the matter directly and professionally, but the responses did not clarify a path to settlement. Based on this experience, I feel totally deceived and this results in obtaining services by deception. Considering collaborations that rely on clear commitments and timely payment. Visitors may have a different experience as customers, but from a professional standpoint I would advise caution and bear this experience in mind when think of trusting this cafe with your custom!
