Activate Waterford
Review
Some attractions entertain you; Activate in Waterford seems to energise you. Founded privately in 2014, this award-winning centre has the polish and freshness of a venue that launched only last week. From the moment I stepped inside, everything felt purposeful, bright, spotless, and run with the quiet confidence of a friendly team that knows exactly what it’s doing. What surprised me most wasn’t one headline experience, but the sheer range. On my guided walk-around I clocked at least seven big-ticket activities before we’d even reached the end of my tour, each one designed to pull you in, whether you’re competitive, curious, or just up for a laugh with friends or family. There’s a real sense of momentum here too, with new additions on the horizon. Activate isn’t standing still and I cannot wait to return to see what’s next. This is Waterford at its most playful.

Dooley’s Hotel Waterford
Dooley’s Hotel in Waterford is exactly the kind of place I really love recommending to my readers. In a world where true family hospitality is becoming harder to find, this city hotel stands proudly apart.
