Yr Eagles Llanuwchllyn
Review
The head of the big, blue, glassy mirror of Bala lake is situated in the splendid village of Llanuwchllyn. It is also the HQ of the Bala Lake Railway, and the nostalgic sound of the engines huffing and puffing on their journeys fills the air. A cordial welcome awaits you in the superb local inn, The Eagles and the chilled atmosphere makes you feel instantly relaxed and at home. An early 18th Century traditional stone built, oak-beamed and family run inn, the bar also has a wonderful shop for you to browse and enjoy. A well stocked bar offering lagers, ales and wines, the menu is generous and interesting with yummy delights such as Homebred Beef/ Lamb Burger, Homebred Pork Sausages served with delicious crunchy chips, Fresh Sandwiches and a selection of gorgeous desserts including Bread and Butter Pudding.

The Arenig Mountains in Snowdonia lie to the North of the Aran Range, and rise like sleeping giants from the rolling moorland, west of Bala Lake.
