This attraction is quite a unique attraction, in as much as essentially it is a huge retail outlet. But The Watershed Mill & Visitors Centre gives you the clue in its name why we just had to feature it in our Northwest Yorkshire section, the word 'Visitor' is the key. There has been a mill on this site for centuries, and this attraction like many others in the Edinburgh Woollen Mill portfolio, attracts many thousands of 'visitors' every year and is a huge pull for this region. They stock some great ranges, and their outdoor clothing department had me there for almost an hour! We featured another EWM site James Weavers Pringles, in our Wales book, for the very same reasons. All in all if you love shopping then you'll love this unique shopping experience, 135 and with addition of the 'Country Kitchen' coffee shop, you can enjoy an affordable lunch also.
