Father and daughter hosts Christopher and Jennifer Smith work tirelessly to make every visit memorable, and their warmth gives the whole place its friendly, comforting character. As a restaurant, The Black Horse is a real pleasure, with food that feels generous, well judged and full of honest flavour. Breakfast deserves special mention too, setting guests up perfectly for a day exploring the Dales. The four dog-friendly B&B rooms continue the inn’s historic charm, offering cosy, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation with a lovely sense of place.
