Ty’n Rhyl Restaurant with Rooms
Review
You can be forgiven for thinking that Rhyl and the area surrounding it, is just about caravan parks, kiss me quick hats, and sticks of rock. However, if that is your perception of the town of Rhyl, believe me, it’s a misconception. If you look a little bit deeper, you’ll come across hidden gems like Tyn Rhyl Restaurant with Rooms. Set perfectly within its own grounds, this 17th century property boasts a selection of 4 star graded accommodation rooms. Award winning chef owner David Barratt and his wife Elvira are the very epitome of what this book is all about, and there is history seeping out of every inch of this house, and I absolutely loved my tour of it. A real home from home experience is what awaits you here at Tyn Rhyl and I can guarantee that once visited, you’ll be booking to come back very quickly.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Along with its historic bedrooms and quirky passage ways, lies the beating heart of this great building: and that is its restaurant. For decades now, Elvira and her award winning chef husband David Barratt, have been cooking up dishes that are mouth wateringly special, and that includes their famous Welsh breakfast. David is a dedicated chef, who creates wonderful dishes, putting his heart and soul into every recipe, with his only goal being the consistent delivery of great food. You would be hard pushed to find a bad review on any aspect of his food, and along with his wife’s amazing customer service skills, you're set for a right treat when you eat here. Even if you're not a resident of the accommodation side of their business, you are more than welcome to book a table, but booking in advance is highly advised, as they only have limited space, due to the popularity of David’s food.
