Trentham Estate

Home to Trentham Gardens, Trentham Monkey Forest, Aerial Extreme and Trentham Shopping Village, there’s fun for all here! A warm welcome awaits you at Trentham Gardens, with its vast perennial plantings providing breath-taking vistas that change with the seasons. Take a stroll around the mile-long lake, through the woodlands and parklands and search for fairies! Get naked from the knees down and take the UK’s first barefoot walk. Hide and speak in the maze, swing into action in the adventure playground, take a boat or miniature train trip. Experience distinctively different shopping at Trentham Shopping Village, with 77 timber lodges housing shops, cafes and restaurants, and the massively impressive Trentham Garden Centre. Get up close and personal with 140 free-roaming Barbary macaques at Trentham Monkey Forest or take a high rope adventure at Trentham Treetop Adventure. You could even stay over at the on-site Premier Inn hotel.

Staffordshire isn't abundant with too many tourist attractions, but the ones they do have, really are something to shout from the rooftops about. Every one of our attractions in this Staffordshire section of the book have earned their place by going that extra mile for their visitors. I live in North Wales which is an attraction in itself, but I really wish there was a Trentham Estate on my doorstep. There is so much to do and see here, the gardens are some of the best in this country, and with a fantastic backdrop of the lake, it was hard to imagine that I was only a few miles away from Stoke. The garden centre on the estate is probably one of the best in the country, which just adds to the exciting shopping experience that is already at Trentham. An attraction certainly not to be missed.
