Totters Independent Hostel has been trading now for well over two decades and both Bob, originally from Anglesey and Henrietta, who is a native of the Netherlands, have been welcoming backpackers from all over the world. Having spent a lot of money renovating the hostel quite recently, you can expect only the very best of facilities. From the bunk rooms themselves, to the very high standards of the kitchen, Bob and Henrietta have got it really spot on. I think it is also worth mentioning the fact that they also have a self catering house across the road from the hostel, which is also furnished to the very same high standards as their hostel. Totters is a family run hostel, located only a stones throw from the castle and with an array of eateries within easy walking distance, you couldn’t have picked a better place to rest your weary head.
