Review
“There was no moon. The sky above our heads was inky black… the salt wind from the sea.” D.du Maurier.
Secured within the strong embrace of Caernarfons’ Medieval Fortress, The Black Boy Inn stands head and shoulders above its contemporaries. The Inn dates back to 1522, and has been lovingly maintained, to allow us a glimpse of the glorious past. Low ceilings with thick beams, nooks and crannies, lit up by blazing real fires, which throw out enchanting lights, that dance romantically across pristine shining brasses. Serving some of the best food in Wales, people literally flock to its doors every summer, in anticipation of another magnificent dining experience. There’s a genuinely happy vibe throughout this establishment, and lucky guests are treated to a truly sublime experience. Beautiful, elegant rooms offer a touch of exceptional luxury, in spacious, spotless rooms furnished with opulence and flair. A shining jewel in Wales’ Crown.
