The Woodborough Inn
The Woodborough is set right in the centre of the busy village of Winscombe. Surrounded by the Rolling Mendip Hills, it is conveniently located within easy reach of Cheddar, Weston-super-Mare, Bristol Airport and the A38 to Bristol. With a large comfortable bar, separate restaurant and skittle alley/function room, it really is at the heart of life in the village. During the summer of 2015 the pub was decorated inside and out and the right had bar and skittle alley altered to create a more contemporary feel. The inclusion of a large raised hearth with a log burner has made this a cosy space. Upstairs, we have 7 well appointed ensuite bedrooms.The surrounding area has plenty to offer those who enjoy the great outdoors. Walkers will enjoy the Mendips (AONB), Cheddar Gorge and the lovely Burrington Combe.
