The Vines
So successful has the welcoming atmosphere of The Vines near Burford proved, that we have built an attractive new wing overlooking the lovely Black Bourton church.
Accommodation on the ground floor have easy direct access with French doors on to its small private patio area with table and chairs.
Great care has been taken to design and furnish the spacious rooms to allow guests every modern convenience and comfort. Most rooms have king size beds and we also have twin and family rooms.
Features
All rooms have en suite shower rooms and the new wing features superb wet rooms with powerful shower, basin , w.c. and toiletries.
Modern requirements such as flat screen televisions, refrigerators, shaver sockets desks, Internet access available in most rooms and direct dial telephones make a stay at “The Vines” a time of pleasure.
All rooms have hospitality tray, hairdryers, and iron and ironing board
Your room may be in the Vines itself but it is more likely that we will provide you with a room in our new wing which is separate to the main building.
The Restaurant
The Vines Restaurant and Bar were famously designed and decorated by John Clegg of the BBC Real Rooms Team. It is stunning and quite different to what you might expect from the beautiful Cotswold stone and vines exterior.
Here you can enjoy lunch or dinner from our A La Carte or Special Daily Menus created from fresh local produce. The cellar offers a choice of over 36 Old and New World wines.
The spacious and comfortably furnished lounge area of ”The Vines” with its leather sofas is an ideal place to relax with a drink or light snack whilst enjoying a game of chess or just chatting, particularly by a cosy log fire on a cold evening.
On lovely summer days, the patio area is ideal for alfresco dining or a challenging game of Aunt Sally
