The Rookery Holiday Cottage
The Rookery is a self catering holiday cottage attached to Glenholme Country House and located just a mile from the centre of the small fishing port of Kirkcudbright in one of the most beautiful parts of South West Scotland. It is a self-contained cottage which can accommodate families or groups of up to four people. What were once the servants’ quarters of the main house have been transformed into light and spacious self-catering accommodation with two bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), a large combined lounge and dining room with an open fireplace, and a newly-designed and fully-equipped kitchen.
Guests in the Rookery have their own private area of garden with garden furniture and a barbecue. They are also welcome to wander and enjoy the rest of Glenholme’s extensive gardens.
For those who do not wish to cook, we offer dinners in the main house on most evenings, using local produce and vegetables from the garden whenever possible.
The Rookery is open all year round.
