Eating Out

Review

The Regency Coffee House in Newtownards is truly a hidden gem. Family-owned and run, this welcoming café has one of the friendliest atmospheres I've encountered in Northern Ireland, making it an immediate favourite. Their ethos, local, fresh, and tasty, is clear from the first bite. Coming from a farming background, the owners really do genuinely care about the provenance of their food, reflected beautifully in their freshly baked cakes and delicious offerings. Having visited twice now, it's clear why this café enjoys such strong local support. It’s a perfect example of why, when travelling, I always choose to eat where the locals do. Relaxed, authentic, and warm-hearted, The Regency Coffee House has effortlessly earned its place as one of my top recommendations in the area.
