The Red Lion Coaching Inn
Review
The vibrant market town of Ellesmere, is located by the side of one of the largest natural meres outside the Lake District. A short stroll away from this big, glassy mirror we find the charming Red Lion Coaching House, built in the 16th Century, and still retaining its graceful elegance and character. A warm welcome awaits guests from owners Lois and Simon, who offer comfortable spacious rooms furnished with simple elegance. Just a short walk away from the Shropshire Union Canal, the Award Winning Red Lion Coaching Inn, makes a perfect place to bring your four legged friend too, as pooches are not only welcome, they even have their own doggy menu (doggy ice cream comes highly recommended). The food is delicious, served piping hot to your table. Serving a variety of dishes from light bites, burgers, vegetarian, vegan and grilled dishes.
