The Queen Catherine Hotel
Review
This hotel started life as a public house and hotel 300 years ago and has been refurbished to incorporate a traditional pub and four beautifully decorated bedrooms for overnighting. The gorgeous village of Osmotherley is best known for its walking, cycling and hiking opportunities and as such is the start of the famous 42 mile Lyke Wake Walk over the moors to Ravenscar. The Queen Catherine Hotel is a family-run business and ensures a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for its guests. The pub stocks a full range of beers, wines and a few guest ales on rotation. The food on offer here is good home-cooked, fresh and locally sourced English fare. You are well placed here to be able to explore the National Park, York, Harrogate and the Yorkshire coast.
