The Plough at Scalby is on the North Yorkshire coast, nestled in the picturesque village of the same name. This character-filled establishment offers eight sumptuous en-suite rooms as well as self-catering options (which are pet-friendly). The rooms here are beautifully appointed with no expense spared to provide a luxurious stay, featuring incredible attention to aesthetics and plush details. The restaurant/pub serves a fine selection of wines, local craft ales and spirits to accompany a delectable menu which heroes the very best of local, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant prides itself on putting a modern spin on traditional British cuisine – and to great effect. The Plough is a must-visit on the way to the North York Moors National Park as your perfect introduction to Yorkshire charm and hospitality.
