The Copper Horse is so much more than a restaurant; it is a family-run business and the epitome of the quintessential English Pub. With quiet little corners, roaring fires and staff that are really pleased to see you, what more can you ask for? Good food we hear you say and this venue - like its sister pub, The Plough in Scalby - prides itself on its food. The accomplished chefs at this establishment create a clever menu that changes all the time, giving you the very best choice and variety of locally-sourced produce. The Copper Horse also boasts a Bertha charcoal oven to add that extra, unmistakable flavour. Great care is taken with each meal, whether from their classic menu featuring steaks, fish, delicious starters and delectable desserts, or their very popular ‘specials board’. Traditional roast with puffy Yorkshire Pudding is definitely a must when in the area. A gluten-free menu is also available. All in all; highly recommended.
