The Passage East Ferry
Review
The Passage East Ferry Company runs a clean, slick, affordable and speedy service that will get you across the River Suir which joins the dots between the village of Ballyhack in Wexford and Passage East in Waterford on your road trip map. Used for both tourism purposes and day-trippers, this ferry crossing takes approximately 15 minutes and is a gateway to ‘The Sunny South East” where you will find an abundance of places to visit, including the oldest lighthouse in Europe, several wonderful abbeys, and the Irish National Heritage Park which gives insight into 9000 years of Irish history. Bookings can be made in advance online on their website whether you are traveling by car, camper van, bicycle or on foot. There are also discounted tickets for regular commuters.
