The Olive Branch Inn
Review
This quaint roadside Inn, situated in Marsden, has been around for 160 years having been built circa 1830. As such, it gives you a proper introduction to the feel and warmth of a traditional Yorkshire pub/restaurant and inn, but with a modern twist. There are three spacious, well-decorated rooms available upstairs, each with a King-sized bed and all the mod cons. There are several packages available that include a dinner, bed and breakfast one – and we found these to be very reasonable. Which brings us to the food. You will be utterly spoilt for choice here. There are menus to choose from whether staying or visiting the restaurant, and buffets galore available for your special occasion. All this can be enjoyed from various vantage points with glorious views of the valley towards the river Colne and Huddersfield. If you enjoy a little luxury and a food-centric venue in special surroundings, this is your next booking
