The Old Rectory Bed & Breakfast
Welcome to The Old Rectory Wheathill, awarded 5 Star Gold by Visit Britain. A country house bed and breakfast in glorious Shropshire countryside near the beautiful medieval market town of Ludlow, famous for its food and its festivals.
A classic Georgian rectory, the house nestles in the tiny hamlet of Wheathill, listed in the Doomsday book and perched between the Brown Clee and Titterstone Clee hills. There are outstanding views in all directions.
Tuck into a delicious afternoon tea - with homemade jams and scones or cakes when you arrive - on the terrace if it's fine or in front of a warming log fire in the elegant drawing room.
The bedrooms are large and light with deeply comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. In the morning, come down to a leisurely country house breakfast in the dining room.
Relax and unwind in our very own rural retreat. We have 7 acres of beautiful gardens with free range chickens and ducks, an orchard and stables. For the duration of your stay our home is your home.
