The Maol Reidh Hotel
Review
Nestled in the heart of Connemara, within a few minutes walk of some of the most stunning golden sandy beaches of the country, you can expect a delightful and relaxing stay. A stylish boutique hotel like no other, the atmosphere is very warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious, have impeccable amenities, and are spotlessly clean. They are very comfortable, and the showers are brilliant! An ideal base to explore this part of Ireland, worldwide visitors come and stay all year-round and absolutely love the place. It is a fantastic choice for a romantic getaway! The team is very approachable and always nearby if you need anything. While you are here, why not have a cocktail in their lounge bar? It is such a cosy space. And if you are feeling hungry, do not miss out on Iasc Restaurant. It is such a fantastic place to stay for a few days.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Welcome to this culinary haven. This restaurant is ever so atmospheric and the staff is really friendly. They cater for all allergens and dietary requirements, so there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Called Iasc Restaurant (Iasc, meaning fish in Irish), you can expect a menu boasting some of the best Seafood in the country. Are you a meat eater? There are some fantastic options for you too! One of my favourites is the Eugene’s Island reared Lamb. Truly delicious. But do not leave without taking a dessert! Whether you are a fan of Eton mess or Ice cream, they have an array of tasty options for you to try. Both adored by locals and worldwide visitors, your tastebuds are in for a treat. Having been awarded the Gourmet Getaway of the Year, it is a gorgeous venue for a romantic dinner. So what are you waiting for to visit?
