The Lower House
Review
“Families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one.” - Unknown.
The McCausland family purchased a pub in 1896, and six generations later, this family branch flourishes and continues to bloom beautifully. Newly refurbished, with expert, tender hands, the attractive grey stone of the 18th Century; The Lower House, has received a careful conversion, creating a wonderful place to rest a while, and spend some time in glorious surroundings. Spoil yourselves with an extra special, all amenities provided, self-catering room, that blends beautifully contemporary furnishings with pleasant touches that are reminiscent of an earlier time. Each room is totally unique with private, separate entrances, fully equipped kitchen, living room and flawless, sublime bedrooms where you can sleep peacefully. Dine next door at the fabulous Brewer’s House, where proper good food is served fresh and plentiful in a charming, inviting atmosphere.
