Situated only a stone’s throw away from the new Lagg Distillery, is the aforementioned Lagg Hotel. Built in 1791, this hotel boasts 13 bedrooms and all are fully en-suite and with a great team of highly experienced staff, nothing is too much trouble. Located within the small village of Lagg which approximately 15 miles from Brodick on the southerly coast road, this small hotel, along with it’s absolutely huge personality, is a perfect place to base yourself during your stay on the island, it even boasts a four poster bed, for those of you that are celebrating something special, a possible engagement, or for those of you preparing to pop the question! No matter what the reason for your visit to the beautiful island of Arran, we cannot recommend the Lagg Hotel enough! Complete with it’s own great restaurant, freshly prepared food is the order of the day, what more do you need?
