Eating Out

Popular sea-view pub with nautical-theme interior, four Robinsons ales and generous helpings of enjoyable traditional food from sandwiches and baked potatoes up, friendly service; dogs welcome, picnic-sets on paved front terrace, open all day. Come enjoy a quality ale or a warm fresh coffee along with a meal.

What a pub!! Reviewed 13 March 2017

We stayed in Moelfre last week for my Father’s surprise 50th getaway. We all met at the pub to surprise him on his birthday!! Later that night we went down for a few quiet drinks... and I must say this has to be one of the best pubs I’ve been in. Traditional decor, reasonably priced and damn good beer and food!

Review

“… this cocktail of colour, found among the rocks, crafted by the patient ocean’s constant dance.” O.Tearle. Pretty as a picture, the village of Moelfre wraps itself around the small harbour, perfectly positioned near the boats and serene, clear blue waters: the superb Kimmel Arms offers a warm and delightful welcome. Whether you fancy a pint of real quality ale, lovely fresh coffee, or an appetising scrumptious feast, the atmosphere and the views are quite simply, magical. Service is fabulous, speedy and friendly, delivering homemade, traditional pub classics, served piping hot to your table. Within, the furnishings have a nautical nuance, with a chilled and spacious atmosphere. After a busy day sightseeing, nothing could be more relaxing than sitting outside with a drink, and just gazing out across the panoramic views of Moelfre Bay.

Waters Edge Holiday Apartments

I had a delightful visit to the Waters Edge Holiday Apartments here in Benllech, Anglesey. The apartments owner and host, Julie Mellor's warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The attention to detail in the apartment's design is impressive, reflecting a true commitment to guest comfort.
