Review

The Imperial Hotel in Galway really couldn't be better situated. Being right in the centre of the city just adds to the many things that this hotel has going for it. The hotel has had a large amount of money recently spent on it and so the improvements are very noticeable. The rooms are really high quality and with the different styles of rooms and the amount of them, there is always going to be a bedroom for every occasion. Whether your here on business, as a tourist or just in Galway for the night, there is something for every one here.

The restaurant and bar downstairs was very reasonable and the quality of food really took me by surprise. I don't mean that in the way it may sound, they do an awful lot of meals every day there and you would think that after doing so many meals that the quality may slip slightly, well that's certainly not the case. In fact it has to be said that this hotel seems to run better when under pressure.

I found the staff to be really friendly and what I had noticed on every table was waiter call type button that allows you to get assistance by just pressing the button. This is something that I have never seen before is any of the hundreds of restaurants that I have visited over the years, and seems to be working a great with all of the customers.

On the whole I had a lovely couple of days stay here and would certainly return to stay again. I felt that given it's location, the fantastic food fast wifi, and the standards of the bedrooms, this hotel definitely has everything I look for in a hotel.
