The Hot Box Sauna (Carlingford)
Review
Hot Box Sauna in Carlingford is a stunning addition to the Boyne Valley wellness scene. As the owners’ second site in the region, alongside Bective Mill in Co. Meath, this Co. Louth location means they now beautifully cover both counties. Set right on Carlingford Lough, the ever-changing views across to the Mourne Mountains are spectacular and instantly calming. The team here are warm, attentive, and know exactly how to look after guests, male and female. Thoughtful touches include both a shared sauna for sociable sessions and a dedicated women’s-only sauna, creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for everyone. I also love their smart subscription option, which gives members 20% off across all Hot Box sites; now believe me, you’re likely to become a regular, so it’s a clever investment. Between the bracing dips, the blissful heat, and that postcard backdrop, this Carlingford outpost is a must-do stop. Highly recommended. Truly superb.
