For almost 300 years The Goat Hotel has provided lodging for travellers. Originally a coaching inn during the 17th century, at the junction of the Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth and Cardiff to Chester routes; today's travellers still arrive to find traditional hospitality and a warm welcome. The Goat has been personally run by Richard and Alyson for the past twenty years and has a reputation for excellent food, well kept real ales and comfortable accomodation. We have five bedrooms, three of which have a private bathroom. All rooms have television, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. We welcome families and have a large family suite available. We are known far afield for the excellent quality and range of meals we serve.Our restaurant offers a selection of locally produced steak and lamb dishes with an interesting selection of starters and some irresistible puddings.
