The Farmers Arms recently was awarded a 5* Food Hygiene Rating by the local authority which of course we are very proud of. This is the first time the pub has achieved this standard and is more pleasing as we have not been here so long ourselves. We thank all those who have helped us achieve this rating and we believe this shows our commitment to being a village pub the local are also proud of. Drinks :- A selection of all your back bar favorites supported by Jennings Bitter & Cumberland Ale from the Jennings brewery at Cockermouth. Guest Ales change on a regular basis and only available when their right for you our customers. Dining:- A pub based menu “proper “Pub Grub” food with regular changing extra’s board to keep the variety fresh and also to try out items for future menus.From a Rib Eye Steak, Beef cooked in Ale to local Ham, Egg & chips - it’s your choice....ask to see the Extra’s board.....
