The perky Pike B&B is in the lovely market town of Keswick, situated in the heart of the beautiful Lake District where there is an abundance of outdoor activities on the doorstep such as hill walking or rock climbing, road and mountain biking , water sports and amazing fresh water lakes and tarns to swim in .

We are a five minute walk from keswick town centre where you will find a wealth of outdoor shops and plenty of old pubs and unique restaurants . Keswick also has an original cinema , along with the popular Theater by the lake all on the door step .

The B&B offers two super-king-bedrooms with large en-suite bathrooms including an L shaped bath & rainfall shower , zip&link beds which can either be made up as one super-king bed or two single beds , and two armchairs with reading lights .

We also have a king size room with en-suite shower room which is perfect for a single person or suitable for a couple .

Egyptian cotton bathrobes and large towels

Breakfast is enjoyed at at the dining table and chairs in the privacy of your own room ,
Outside your bedroom door you will wake to find a delicious selection of continental breakfast foods & a preordered cooked breakfast .

Myself (Jude) & my two dogs live at the property . We have our own private areas but I am always contactable should my require anything.

Due to the layout of the property we cannot accommodate children under 12 years , although babies if you have your own travel cots could be accommodated within the room , please let me know at the time of booking .

Unfortunately pets can not be accommodated but I would like to make you aware that we do have two (usually! ) well behaved Labradors . They are not allowed in the guest areas .

MYSELF & THE AREA

I have been lucky enough to live in the keswick area for over 20 years , I have brought my 3 children up here , we have all enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle.

We cycle up the many Lakeland passes and mountain bike in and around whinlatter forest and other areas , there are miles of beautiful trails and mountains with breathtaking views to fell run or hike up , I have been a keen open water swimmer for over 10 years now and can give you plenty of advice about places to swim .

Keswick also has several festivals such as the film festival and mountain festival where there are plenty of things too do and outdoor activities to try , keswick also hosts the Jazz festival and many sporting events such as triathlons , an iron man & the half marathon plus many cycling events all set in our picturesque countryside .

I am also an on call firefighter at keswick fire station, I have arranged my hours around the bed & breakfast business to provide breakfast for my guests , however if occasionally I do get a call out I may not always be available at the property but can always be reached on my mobile if needed .

The Perky Pike bnb was created By myself and my son ,we put our blood sweat and tears into this business , I feel our heart and soul is at its core . Our aim is that you feel welcome and comfortable & enjoy your stay here at the PP
