The Devon Inn Hotel
Review
Co. Limerick is one of those counties that always brings a smile to my face, and a stay at the family-owned Devon Inn Hotel only reinforces why. After a warm welcome, you’ll find the bedrooms are cosy and comfortable, thoughtfully designed and wonderfully restful, with all the comforts you need for an easy, no-fuss break after a full day of exploring. Everything feels well cared for, from crisp linens to the practical touches that make settling in effortless. The Devon Inn is also a superb stop-off for anyone travelling between Limerick City and County Kerry, with a host of attractions, including the Limerick Greenway only a short distance away. Make it your base and you’ll even have County Clare within reach via the nearby car ferry.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Dining at the Devon Inn Hotel is a genuine pleasure, whether you’re dropping in for a casual bite or settling in for a proper meal. The Templars Bar is the kind of place you instantly relax into, warm, welcoming, and ideal for a quiet pint and a hearty bar dish after a day on the road. For something more formal, the Glen-Quinn Grill delivers, with beautifully presented plates, generous portions and flavours that show real confidence from the kitchen. What impresses me most is the consistency of the reviews here: quality food, fair pricing, and friendly service that makes you feel looked after. Pride shows in every plate, and you’ll leave happy. Even if you’re not staying, it’s a superb stop-off between Limerick and Kerry.
