The Church Inn
Almost near derelict back in 2013, the ‘Cheshire Cat Pub and Inns’ company came to the Church Inn’s rescue and transformed this once sows ear, into a sparkling silk purse. Situated perfectly between the Cheshire towns of Wilmslow and Knutsford in leafy Mobberley, this perfect ‘country tavern’ offers an intimate bar with historic dining rooms and a boot room all on the ground floor with two private dining rooms upstairs. There are picturesque outdoor terraces and gardens with views across farmer’s fields. St. Wilfrid’s church sits opposite, adding to the real charm of this award winning, grade two listed pub.With one hundred wines to choose from and award winning food to match this is an occasion not to be missed. The Pub also houses the ‘Big Hill’ Gin Distillery where tours can be arranged.
