The Cellar Bistro@The Gaphouse
Review
Tucked perfectly within the iconic Gap House Pub in the heart of Moate, The Cellar Bistro is a hidden gem that delivers on all fronts. Locally owned and run, this inviting restaurant offers a warm welcome, with a team that’s both efficient and genuinely friendly. The kitchen takes pride in using where possible, locally sourced produce, resulting in dishes that are fresh, hearty, and full of flavour. Expect traditional Irish favourites done exceptionally well, with a few creative surprises peppered throughout the menu to keep things interesting. Whether you're dropping in for a casual meal or a special occasion, you’ll be in good hands here. The atmosphere is relaxed, the portions generous, and the quality consistent, exactly what you'd want from a great local bistro.
