Sunnyside Lodges offers a wonderfully peaceful escape amid the rolling countryside just outside Sanquhar. Only around twenty minutes from the M74, it feels pleasingly secluded without ever being difficult to reach. Dominic and Claire have created a charming glamping retreat where relaxation, comfort and warm hospitality come together beautifully. Each pod enjoys its own private hot tub, adding a gentle touch of romance and luxury to evenings beneath the Dumfriesshire sky. The views are superb, with open countryside stretching beyond the lodges and creating a real sense of calm. What impressed me equally was the value for money, making this an ideal choice for couples wanting a memorable break without an extravagant price tag. The friendly horses and surrounding farm life bring even more character to the experience, with the animals happily greeting visitors. Sunnyside Lodges is tranquil, welcoming and full of thoughtful touches, making it a delightful countryside getaway.
