The small Welsh town of Llangollen, famous for its festivals, fun, and many excellent attractions including fishing in the river, steam train rides and horse drawn canal boats, is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is regarded as “ a walkers paradise” and right at the heart of the town we find the fabulous ‘ Riverbanc Hotel’ offering superior overnight accommodation as well as outstanding coffee, snacks and melt in the mouth cakes. This handsome Grade 11 listed building is perfect for a weekend away with or without the little ones, bunk beds provided just in case. Gracefully decorated rooms with comfy King Size beds, cafetière makes a lovely change, tea, biscuits and all facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Sumptuous Full Welsh breakfast served by friendly staff.

You know you’re onto a good thing when the aroma of divine coffee and delicious cooking greets you at the restaurant's doorway and for sure, The Riverbanc are coffee experts ( the tea is jolly nice too) at making extremely tasty coffee and are once again featured in the ‘Independent Coffee Guide’. The restaurant is cool and elegant, with a charming wooden decked terrace outside, should you wish to have your cake with a view! Just below you the River Dee makes its bubbling way along providing a real feeling of peace. The menu changes daily and is all locally sourced and home cooked on the premises, all served with that extra special ingredient, a warm and welcoming smile.
