Review
With a new crew onboard and a new captain at the helm, I could go on all day with all the seafaring quotes, but seriously, I couldn’t have wished for a better family to have taken on the Pilot Boat. They not only care about the pub’s future, they are passionate about its success and the plans they have for the place really do fill me with confidence that this is set to become one of the jewels in Anglesey’s huge culinary crown. I’ve had my eye on this pub to be one of my Anglesey Food for Thoughts for some years now, but back then, it just didn’t have the right ingredients, excuse the pun. If you’ve not yet visited the pub, the views from the pub’s beer garden really are quite something else and as I stood there, I thought I could be anywhere in the world here.
