Pant Du Vineyard
Pant Du Vineyard and Orchard is situated on the stunning slopes of the Nantlle Valley, Snowdonia, North Wales. The vineyard and orchard has been planted on the south facing glacial slopes of the valley, at the foothills of Snowdon. Pant Du is a family run business with a café, shop on site. Spectacular views of the magnificent Snowdonia mountain range can be seen to the North East, and panoramic views of the sea to the West, Pant Du is an idyllic location to enjoy the spectacular natural beauty Snowdonia has to offer. Since producing the first bottle of wine in 2010 the company has established a reputable name for themselves in producing award winning wines, and high quality cider and apple juice. The company’s latest venture is premium still and sparkling bottled water. The project arose back in January 2013 following the discovery of spring water under the land at Pant Du.

Who would of ever known that there is an award winning vineyard perfectly situated on the west coast of North Wales. Well there is and it came as a great surprise even to me! So I put on my coat and gloves and went to investigate for myself and what I found was just that, an award winning vineyard on the West coast of North Wales. Pant du is far more than just that. There is the usual wine tasting sessions that comes with every visit to a vineyard, but with a great cafe and their all year round vineyard tours, this has now been turned into one of North Wales must see attractions. I had a very pleasurable tour around part of the vineyard, by its owner Richard Huws, who in his own right, is a BAFTA award winning TV and Film Cameraman. Richard took me to see the well, where he knew and believed there was water underneath, this resulting in the addition of still and sparkling water to the Pant du Family.
