North Yorkshire Moors Railway
Review
You are never too young, nor too old, to take a trip in a real-life time machine. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is proof of this. What a memorable way to spend the day; traversing the incredible Yorkshire countryside in a steam engine or heritage diesel train on one of the earliest railway lines in the country. This incredible slice of history is preserved by a not-for-profit organisation, which means that by taking part in the experience, you will be contributing to keeping it alive. The trains choo-choo their way into olde-worlde stations where you get to literally step back in time and relive the historic heritage of the various stops. The NYMR is a fully accredited museum and provides education and a thrilling ride for all ages at the exhilarating blow of a whistle. Words cannot properly describe this journey – it is one, however, not to be missed!
