Staying here was a real treat; the cozy rooms are warm and inviting, skillfully updated to retain their character within this 17th-century coaching inn. Given its Grade II listed status, the team have done an impressive job balancing heritage with contemporary touches. Dining in the pub was another highlight, the Lamb Curry dish was just perfect for a chilly October evening, full of flavour and heartiness. The ambiance adds to the experience, making it a welcoming spot to unwind. What makes the Kings Head even more appealing is its affordability, proving that comfort and quality don’t have to come at a high price. The staff and management go above and beyond, making every guest feel valued with their warm, attentive service.
