Maggie May’s Bar & Restaurant here in Loughrea is a true local stalwart, full of warmth, character and genuine hospitality. Loughrea itself makes a superb stopping point, whether you are visiting St Brendan’s Cathedral, exploring the Slieve Aughty Mountains or simply passing through this busy Galway town. Inside Maggie May’s, your hosts Justin and Veronica Comer continue a proud tradition within a pub that has welcomed generations for at least two centuries. The welcome is immediate, friendly and sincere, while the food offering is excellent. Downstairs, guests can enjoy relaxed, satisfying dishes in a comfortable bar setting, while upstairs, the restaurant provides a more refined dining experience.
