Review

Longmeadow Cider Farm in Co. Armagh is a shining example of how passion, innovation, and family values can turn a simple apple orchard into one of Ireland’s premier cider producers. Founded by Peter McKeever Senior in 1968, who planted his first Bramley apple tree with a vision well ahead of his time, the farm has since flourished under the care of the McKeever family. Today, Longmeadow is more than just a cider farm, it’s a hub of excellence producing award-winning ciders, premium apple juices for major well known retailers and even their own traditional Irish cider vinegar, complete with the ‘mother’. What really sets Longmeadow apart is the immersive tour experience, which finishes in the charming Bramley Barn with a well-earned tasting session. Whether you're a cider enthusiast or simply curious, this tour is a fantastic insight into Armagh’s rich apple-growing heritage, delivered with warmth, enthusiasm, and deep local pride.
