Lisnacurran Country House
Review
Lisnacurran Country House is one of my favourite stops when travelling through Northern Ireland. Perfectly located, it’s an ideal place to rest no matter which direction you’re heading. Owned and run by the warm and welcoming Lynne & Jonathan McCabe, you’ll feel instantly at ease. The rooms are modern yet full of character, striking that perfect balance of comfort and style. There’s even a hot tub—perfect for unwinding after a long day. Lisnacurran is popular for a reason, so if it’s fully booked, don’t worry. The McCabes also run two equally impressive properties locally in Hillsborough and Moira. What truly seals the deal for me, though, is the breakfast: freshly prepared, locally sourced, and absolutely delicious. It’s a proper breakfast that sets you up for the day ahead. Highly recommended and always a pleasure to return.
