Kilcoran Lodge Hotel
Review
The scenic town of Cahir, looks over the banks of the River Suir which is teaming with trout and salmon, in the south of the ‘small but mighty’ County Tipperary. It is here, overlooking the dramatic Knockmealdown Mountains, that we find the splendid Kilcoran Lodge Hotel, rich in history, originally built circa 1850’s, thankfully now open to lucky visitors. This sumptuous country house makes a perfect romantic destination for you and your partner. You receive a fabulous thousand welcomes as soon as you arrive, and the warmth of roaring fires and aromas of delicious food greet you, as does the cosy, charming atmosphere. The decor manages to create a modern, prosperous air whilst also retaining an old-world grace and charm. With many local attractions, you can either explore or just chill out in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel, which even includes the chance to have a leisurely swim together in the swimming pool. So why not take the plunge and leave the stress behind you for a while.
