The Kielder Birds Of Prey Centre is beautifully situated: within the beguiling lakeside surroundings of Kielder Water, at Leaplish Waterside Park, Northumberland. Taking time to really get to know and understand all about the birds who share our habitat, makes a wonderful way of enjoying some family time together. Boasting one of the biggest, and most captivating collections of Birds Of Prey in the North of England; come and say ‘hello’ and spend some precious time with the Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, Owls, Vultures and even a family of wallabies! Open 7 days a week: 10.30am-3pm, there are over 70 birds, ranging from the small and cuddly to the magnificent eagle. Create special memories for you and the family, with a visit to Kielder Water Birds Of Prey Centre; teaching them about ecology and the environment, which will then stay with them for the rest of their lives.
