Review
Kells Sheepdog Demonstrations in Kells, Co. Kerry is a wonderful insight into an age-old rural tradition, delivered with warmth, skill and real authenticity. Family owned and run by Tom and Mairead O’Sullivan, this is, in my professional opinion, one of the finest attractions of its kind in Ireland. Tom is a natural communicator, and it is easy to see why he and his remarkable dogs have attracted television attention, including appearances connected with shows such as One Man and His Dog. Watching him work is a real privilege; every command is followed with precision, intelligence and trust. It is both educational and deeply enjoyable and you leave feeling truly entertained. Located at the popular Caitins Pub & Restaurant, with ample parking and the added bonus of coffee, cake, breakfast or lunch, this is far more than a demonstration. It is a genuine Kerry experience and one visitors should not miss.
