Whether visiting as a child or an adult, you will find this outing a most enjoyable one. John Bull Confectioners are manufacturers of traditional confectionery and have been for three generations. They manufacture hand-made rock, biscuits, confectionery and jams. They also offer an opportunity to get hands-on and roll your own rock! We found the staff to be friendly, the tour to be intriguing, and it was most definitely value for money all day long. There is one added bonus to John Bulls factory tour that wasn’t there previously and that is the Candy Kingdom play-centre. Built in 2004, this adventure paradise really does give an extra option for those visitors with young children when a tour around a factory may not be suitable for them. We could not have put the East Riding chapter together without including the iconic John Bull's candy factory tours.
