Jedburgh Castle Jail and Museum
Review
Live Borders are an organisation set up to look after the Scottish Borders biggest attractions and six of their crowns biggest jewels are right here in this Scottish Borders Chapter of the book. Here at Jedburgh Jail, Castle and Museum, you can get transported back in time, to see not only our penal legacy, but with some clever exhibitions, get to see just what life would of been like in jails across our country in the 1800’s. For those of you that have a haunting fascination with ghosts and the afterlife, the jail also hosts paranormal evenings and you can even stay over, this is not for the faint hearted however, you'd have to have a stronger heart than I! I loved this attraction, the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and the exhibitions didn't look tacky or cheap, no expense has been spared into making your experience a memorable one.
